Colleges of Excellence and the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships displayed their training and technical capabilities and experiences in the technical exhibition that was held on the sidelines of the 9th Saudi Technical Conference and Exhibition, held by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation in Intercontinental Riyadh.
Eng. Ayman bin Mustafa bin Alabdullah, CEO of the Colleges of Excellence, said that the conference and the accompanying technical exhibition achieved great success, with an impressive attendance of top experts, researchers and representatives of business sectors in the Kingdom and the world, who participated in the conference and its virtual sessions and workshops.
He added that the Colleges of Excellence's pavilion in the exhibition witnessed the arrival of many visitors and participants to learn about the projects and roles of the Colleges of Excellence through preparing evaluation, consultative and developmental studies for the best practices to build entrepreneurship capabilities; provide consultative and training services to implement the initiative to employ Saudi officials in the private sector jobs such as quarries, crushers, fishing and others; supervise the operation of the International Technical Colleges; and introduce the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships and its role in supporting technology transfer programs and localizing technical and vocational jobs in the private sector. He noted that the pavilion displayed the latest advanced technologies in engineering and training sectors.
He pointed out that the conference and the pavilion witnessed signing a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding made by the Saudi Center for International Strategic Partnerships, with the presence of H.E. the Minister of Education, and H.E. the Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. These included signing an MOU between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and Al-Hokair Retail, to provide junior training in the retail sector; an MOU between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and Ibralynn Co. LTD., to provide junior training in cooking, hospitality and protocol sector; an MOU between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and Al Jouf Renewable Energy Association, to provide junior training in renewables sector; and the fourth agreement was signed between the Colleges of Excellence and Aviation Australia, and Buraq Aviations in the field of training and support services for drones.
