Colleges of Excellence a platinum sponsor for the International Conference on Occupational Safety and Health

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, represented by the Colleges of Excellence, participated in the International Conference on Occupational Safety and Health 2021, sponsored by H.E. Minister of Human Resources and Social Development in Riyadh.

Dr. Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid, the Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, presided over the first session of the Conference on "Modern International Approaches to Enhance the Concept of Occupational Safety and Health in the Work Environment." The third day's session was presided over by Eng. Ayman bin Mustafa Alabdullah, CEO of Colleges of Excellence, on "Occupational Safety and Health and the Quality of Life." Eng. Walid Hamzi, Occupational Health and Safety Consultant at Colleges of Excellence, participated in the Conference with a workshop on "High-Risk Professions," in which he introduced the key sectors that involve high-risk professions; and measures of prevention, protection and control, highlighting the importance of occupational safety and health training in building competencies, and the challenges of implementing the licensing system for practicing high-risk professions. This workshop enjoyed remarkable attendance.

H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, honored in the opening ceremony the Colleges of Excellence, represented by Eng. Ayman bin Mustafa Alabdullah, CEO, as one of the Conference's sponsors, where he received a shield in the ceremony that was attended by officials from both the public and private sectors and those interested in occupational safety and health.

On his part, Eng. Alabdullah said that Colleges of Excellence participation in the Conference as a sponsor is motivated by the Company's belief in the importance of participation in local and international forums and conferences, such as the International Conference on Occupational Safety and Health, and a confirmation of its role in enhancing the concept of safety in work environments and thus contributing to creating a work environment free of accidents and injuries and attractive to human cadres.
