TVTC signs an agreement with National Technology Group to localize jobs and build national cadres in the Kingdom

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation signed on Rabi' Al-Awwal 17, 1443 – October 23, 2021 in Riyadh, a cooperation agreement with the National Technology Group, which includes planning to launch a non-profit training unit with strategic partnership through the model of the Strategic Partnerships Institutes, to qualify and recruit national cadres with international skills that meet the need of the technical sector so the Kingdom become a global technology hub.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah Al-Marzouq, Deputy Governor for Training Policies and Quality at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, and Dr. Suleiman Rashid Al-Ballaa', Chairman of the National Technology Group.

The agreement is aimed at localizing specialized technical jobs, in addition to building a cadre that meets the requirements of future technology sector, contributing to achieving Saudi Vision 2030, re-qualifying Saudi cadres to upgrade their knowledge and skills, contributing to fill the gap between the currently required modern technologies and our national cadres' knowledge and skills, and benefiting from the international outreach of the Group's companies to make Saudi cadres highly capable and required in international forums.

After the signing ceremonies, Dr. Abdullah Al-Marzouq said that "the focus on basic skills is an important part of this new phase in the Kingdom's history," stressing that the business sector across the world supports this approach, and that the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation is working on building strategic partnerships and engaging employers in the training process to reach highly competent outputs through the model of the Strategic Partnerships Institutes.

On his part, Dr. Suleiman Rashid Al-Ballaa', Chairman of the National Technology Group, said that the Group plans to expand internationally and works on building cadres that can work for any international body in the Kingdom.
