Capacity Building Program

The Capacity Building Program aims to develop the training units affiliated with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, and technical colleges and institutes; to provide them with international experience in partnership with the top international institutions in that field, which is eventually reflected on the labor market outputs. This happens through developing an effective and rapid system to review the current training programs and plans and develop them in order to improve the trainees' skills and guide them to the suitable vocational and occupational options that meet the needs of the labor market. In addition to raising the efficiency of trainers, equipping training units with the necessary materials, developing administrative and training processes, and transferring and localizing technical knowledge according to a sustainable developmental methodology.

During the Program, from 2017 to 2020, the Company did

     Build the capacities of the training units employees (deans, trainers, and administrative staff).

     Develop educational curricula continuously to meet the changing needs of labor market.

     Provide customized and appropriate guidance that focuses on the trainees' skills to become qualified workers with competitive advantages in the labor market.

     Improve the training environment, from buildings and facilities to conform to the international standards.

     Evaluate the training units and establish a baseline, and prepare development and follow-up plans for the training units.

Training over 220 male/female trainers and administrative staff.
 Developing more than 13 training curricula to meet development requirements and the needs of the labor market.
 Developing a quality framework to follow up the progress level in the training units' performance in accordance with the labor market needs.
 Developing a training environment in each of the academic services and support services, including equipment maintenance and information technology in the training units.
 Working on plans to improve the training quality in line with the best international practices, including leadership, trainers, trainees, administrative staff and utilities.
 Measuring the training units' level of satisfaction where a high satisfaction level was achieved.
